Known for all the wrong reasons this old historic convict colony is worth a visit. Easy access from Hobart it houses lots of Austrlaian history.

A beautiful historic town in Tasmania. Very cold down here but not too bad in the warmer months. Some great tours to go on nowadays, beautiful views and scenery.

Port Arthur is essentially where the old jail once stood. there are still a lot of ruins to see.

A great step back in time and link to our countries white history, and now a memorial to one of our nations worst tragedies as a reminder of how fragile life is. A must see. Make sure you take the boat trip out to the graveyards on the little island.

Port Arthur is dripping with history and the tours give you a good understanding of this. The architecture and free access make it a place worth visiting if in Tasmania.

Must see Port Arthur for yourself, listen to the stories, and feel the creeps when you walk through the dark rooms on your own.
