Reviews of Coffs Harbour
Rating: 3 out of 5

We\'ve been to Coffs Harbour a couple of times and it is a good place to relax. While you are there you should do the tourist thing and visit the Big Banana and go for a tour of the banana plantation.

Coff\'s Harbour is mostly remembered for the tacky \"Big Banana\"- give it a miss and visit some of the surrounding agricultural areas which are much more interesting. If really hard up for something to do visit the Clog Barn and get involved in clog making- but only if you are really desperate. However Coff\'s beaches are pleasant and you can visit the Mutton Bird Island National Park.

If you are driving from Sydney to Byron Bay, Coffs Harbour is the perfect stop on the way up. There are mostly locals in the area but you can still meet some people backpacking up the coast

Visited here with my family. Remember a vast expanse of beautiful beaches and lots of bananas. Great place to stop at if you are travelling up the coast road from Sydney to Brisbane

Home to the Big Banana is Coff\'s claim to fame. Clean town that seems to get bigger and bigger every time I see it. It\'s becoming more and more popular as I hear of people going there for family vacations. A stop at the Big Banana is mandatory for every Aussie family and anyone driving the Coast road from Sydney to Brissy.

Stopped at the big banana on my way to the Gold Coast. It\'s a very expensive tourist spot but the frozen banana\'s they sell there are beautiful. The actual big banana isn\'t that big at all and if you blink while you are driving past you are sure to miss it. Other than that the town is quite nice and the locals are friendly.

Loved it. A great place to stay for a few days. Excellent attractions - my favorite being the pet porpoise pool. Best dolphin interaction experience ever.

A nice family-friendly destination but a bit boring for anyone looking for a budget Gold Coast. Its not too far from Sydney though.

The Big Banana is not so big and the town is not too exciting. The resorts just north of town have the best beaches.

Coffs is a perfect overnight stop on the Pacific Highway between Brisbane and Sydney. Obviously the Big Banana takes all the highlights but Coffs is more than that.

Sunny spot with plenty of tourity appeal especially with kids. Good place to stop between Sydney & Brisbane. Go on, have a quick peep through the Big Banana and take a farm tour while your at it!

I have been to Coffs Harbour a few times as it\'s the perfect place to stop if your heading to Gold Coast, I rate it about the half way mark. The Big Bananna isn\'t as big as you think and was not that impressed with it. Nice place to see
